Tippers Motorcycle Number Plates are manufactured to a very high standard.
We specialise in Die Pressed (Embossed) 16 gauge Mirror Polished Aluminium plates (particularly suited for the older bike, i.e. 1920's to 1960's).
Reflective (i.e. black on yellow) plates were introduced on to our roads in January 1973.
With "Standard" Motorcycle plates having 2 1/2" digits and "Trials" having
1 3.4" , there are therefore a variety of overall sizes of plate available.
However, many plates are 'custom-made' to suit a template, if provided.
All plates have rounded corners, although the Trials plates of size
6" x 4 1/2" and 11" x 3" and also the 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" standard motorcycle plates are normally manufactured with square corners, unless otherwise requested.
Aluminium 'blanks' for non-standard size CURVED front plates can be supplied for self cutting to required shape and then returned to Tippers for embossing, or alternatively, upon receipt of template, a surcharge will be payable for the extra shaping involved, e.g. this applies to Triumph front number plates which fit a curved chrome frame.
